Standoff

Clearly,

we can see

we are lost without

each other

don't you agree?

 

We are at a crossroad

neither wanting to give

or showing our feelings

why can't we just live?

Both of us hurt by

what happened and took place

we hide our feelings

just trying to keep face!   

Not realizing that when

this silliness comes to an end

our hearts will be the ones

which will certainly not mend.
